Production Graphic Artist (onsite)

Your role as Production Artist is integral to the success of the company. You will partner with the Art Manager and Art Lead to “To turn emotions into memories”, by producing production-ready art, as requested by customers, that meets or exceeds their expectations. To produce accurate art files and output in a manner that meets or beats deadlines. Achieving Art department goals that align with the overall vision and goals of Crystal D.

Often, the Production Artist works with the Customer Service and Production Department to ensure 100% on-time delivery of the highest quality product at the lowest cost so that Crystal D can be the first choice for awards and gifts in the future.

This position reports directly to the Art Manager and Art Lead
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Prepare Production-Ready Artwork (70%): Create and adjust artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for production, ensuring accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction. Proof artwork and provide feedback or recommendations.

• Customer Experience Support (15%): Address customer artwork needs, communicate with Sales and Customer Service, and provide creative solutions to art-related problems.

• Teamwork & Collaboration (5%): Assist team members, maintain continuous improvement practices, and follow safety guidelines.

• Custom Products & Marketing (5%): Contribute to custom product development and marketing projects by providing creative artwork and ensuring adherence to production standards.

• Process & Software Optimization (5%): Stay updated on design trends and software, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with the team to enhance processes and productivity.
   

Knowledge, Education, Experience and/or Certifications:

• Associates degree in graphic design, or related field and 1 or more years of experience 
• Or 2-3 years of experience and/or training in a similar function doing some or all aspects of the essential duties and responsibilities listed above; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the above listed essential duties and responsibilities
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in graphic arts and production
• Our business operates on EOS business operating system. Previous experience with this system is a plus but is not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Access
• On-the-job training may be required
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Demonstrates fluency in Production Art knowledge and workflow

• Ability to work independently and execute responsibilities in a high volume, deadline-oriented environment to maintain productivity, meet organizational goals, and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks under pressure
• Willingness and adaptability to organize, implement, and perform quality work with accuracy and attention to detail
• Use of depth perception, close vision, and color vision are all continuously required
• Understanding of design principles
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule
The hours of work will fluctuate based on the needs of the business and the needs of our customers. Occasionally, this position will require work hours beyond the normal workday based on the demands of the position.

Pay range: $20-$23/hour, depending on experience
